Jocelyn Powers Jocelyn Powers is a native Missourian. She is a graduate
of the art school at Washington University in St Louis and worked for many
years in advertising as a film and video producer. Wanting more from her
career Jocelyn turned to the healthcare field and redirected her path. For
over a decade now she has enjoyed a successful and satisfying career in
emergency medicine. In recent years Jocelyn has been drawn back to her
creative roots by the pen. She has embarked on what she refers to as her
hobby career and her first novel Clarity. She has been writing stories in
her head for years and credits long time friend Robin Alexander for
inspiring her to get them out of her gray matter and on to paper. Jocelyn
currently resides in St. Louis and shares a home with her beloved ninety
pound Weimaraner (who thinks she’s the size of a Chihuahua). Joce is an avid
skier and loves to be outdoors whenever possible. She still dapples with the
visual arts and is an accomplished freelance digital video editor. Jocelyn
emphasizes she doesn’t live a day without saying thank you for her family,
good friends, good health and an amazing life.
